Response to Client Brief

 Response to Client Brief

Explanations of Demographics:
The Demographics for my Cadbury`s Dairy Milk Buttons advertising campaign includes mainly young people aged between 5 to 30 year olds. This is because the buttons are of the simple ingredient of fresh milk, which easily appeals to the younger audience due to its simplicity and not having an overwhelming taste; easy to consume. The buttons chocolate is directed towards all genders and ethnicities, aiming to appeal those who love to snack on some classic milk chocolate goodness. The lifestyle of the target market includes going to school/work, where the Buttons chocolate can easily be eaten on the go (especially for kids). The interests of a target market would include performing activities, so the product is consumed to regain that energy. This is strongly suitable for children around 5-10 years old as they wouldn`t need as much sugar and energy as adults do; so the small packets are just enough. However, the product could be less appealing towards the older audience as the chocolates wouldn`t be enough for simple re-energising. Other disadvantages for choosing this audience would be that parents who come across the campaign might refuse to purchase the product as they might be cutting down sugar and sweets from their young child`s diet.

With the help of brief experiences in using DSLR Canon camera and Final Cut Pro when I completed GCSE Media; I can use the skills learnt and apply it to creating pictures and editing the advertisements. Despite never producing a radio advert, I had studied The Archers (GCSE) which is a radio show, therefore making me aware of how they make sound effects and capture the audiences' attention. Although my skills aren't advanced in terms of working through editing softwares like Final Cut Pro or GarageBand, through this campaign I can acquire more knowledge about them and be able to create the best quality advertisement.
